Turboreini
5th Oberkrainer accompaniment workshop with Turboreini
Immerse yourself in the rousing world of Oberkrainer music. In this energetic workshop with the charismatic musician Turboreini, you will learn the typical playing technique of the so-called accordion accompaniment, which enables you to accompany other accordion players, other musicians with different instruments or even a song or choir with the accordion in order to have more fun making music together. This workshop is ideal for music enthusiasts of all ages who enjoy traditional folk music and Oberkrainer music. Let Reini's turbo energy infect you and take your accordion playing to a new level with this workshop.
It has probably happened to you more than once that you have played together with several accordion friends and each player has played the melody of different songs. Of course you can do this, but it can also lead to a certain amount of confusion because each musician plays the songs a little differently. The Oberkrainer accompaniment is a simple but very effective way of achieving real teamwork and more enjoyment in making music together. Or someone wants to sing a song and needs some musical support from an accordion. You know the vocal melody, but you can't play the melody on the accordion because you don't have any sheet music. Here you can use the accordion accompaniment to effectively enrich the singer or choir in a simple way by using the accordion accompaniment on the chords without having to play the melody. There are many other ways to use this accordion accompaniment in a simple way. The accordion Oberkrainer accompaniment was originally developed for a group in a quintet with accordion, guitar, bass, trumpet and clarinet. As the main melody was often played/sung by the wind instruments (trumpet and clarinet) or by the vocals, the accordion was relatively free to fulfil an additional function that filled out the rhythm - the accordion accompaniment. Nowadays, this technique has also proved its worth for modern music and can even be applied to oldies, hits and party music and is becoming increasingly popular. All these topics and especially the accordion accompaniment technique will be taught in this workshop. So register now for the accordion accompaniment workshop and experience pure musical fun with the Turboreini
